Yes. Every candle is hand-poured in Montréal using natural soy wax, bee wax and cotton wicks. Each vessel is filled with intention, craftsmanship, and care.
- 02
Yes. Most of our candles are poured into vintage, antique, or upcycled vessels collected for their beauty and history.
Slight patina, variations, or imperfections are normal and celebrated—they give each piece its soul.

At House of Eugénie, packaging is part of our philosophy.
Your parcel is composed with the same intention as each curated piece:
• 40% of our packaging is repurposed — boxes that have been restored and given a second life. • Items are cushioned in shredded pages of vintage magazines, honouring the stories that came before. • All wrapping materials are either recycled or repurposed, chosen with care and beauty in mind. • For every delivery, trees are planted, replenishing what we take and continuing a cycle of renewal.
Our packaging is eco-conscious, elegant, and deeply aligned with our values: refinement without compromise.
- 04
Photos are representative but not contractual. Because each piece is one-of-a-kind or vintage, slight differences may occur in colour, patina, shape, or texture.

• Always keep your candle in sight • Burn for 2–3 hours at a time • Trim the wick to ¼ inch • Keep away from drafts, pets, fabrics, and flammable objects • Place on a heat-resistant surface • Stop burning if the vessel becomes too hot or develops a crack • Leave 1 cm (½ inch) of wax at the bottom
- 11
Vintage vessels may react differently to heat. Please: • Stop burning if the container becomes cracked or overly hot • Leave at least 1 cm (½ inch) of wax at the bottom • Expect natural wear or patina — it is part of the vessel’s charm
Once your candle is finished, the vessel can be gently washed and reused as décor.
