The mark beneath the piece — MOY USA — is a known mis-stamp variation of McCoy’s mid-century production, a small quirk that adds character to its history. 
Originally crafted as an indoor planter or decorative centerpiece, Hermes was designed to bring softness and texture into the home. Its raised beadwork, flowing silhouette, and serene pastel glaze showcase McCoy’s signature blend of craftsmanship and approachable elegance. 
Now reimagined as a hand-poured candle, Hermes glows from within, illuminating its sculpted patterns and enhancing the soothing aquatic tones of its glaze. The result is refined, sculptural, and quietly luminous. 
Revived by House of Eugenie, HERMES becomes a modern heirloom — a tribute to American ceramic artistry, renewed through light.

HERMES is a vintage McCoy USA pedestal planter (mis-stamped MOY USA) from the mid-20th century. Featuring an embossed rope design, beaded trim, and a soft aqua glaze, this mid-century ceramic piece has been transformed into an elegant hand-poured candle. 
 
This candle is unscented, celebrating the purity of form, light, and timeless design — a piece that glows as much as it tells a story. 
 
Each candle is hand-poured in Montreal using 100% natural soy wax and cotton wicks for a clean, eco-friendly burn. We carefully source unique vintage and artisanal containers, giving each candle a second life as a meaningful object of décor.
Every vessel is also fully refillable, allowing your candle to live on—again and again.

    • Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each use. 

    • Always burn on a heat-resistant surface, away from drafts, children, and pets. 

    • Allow the wax to fully melt across the surface during the first burn to prevent tunneling. 

    • Never leave a burning candle unattended. 

    • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. 

    • Once finished, let the candle cool before cleaning. 

    • Clean with warm water and mild soap to remove wax residue.
